Stan Lee’s Los Angeles Home Up for Sale With Signed Spider-Man Memorabilia

Dec 13, 2024

Six years after his passing, comic book legend, Stan Lee’s home is going up for sale, and it includes some amazing Spider-Man merch. Lee was one of the masterminds (along with Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko) behind such Marvel Comics characters as The Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Doctor Doom, The Hulk, and Matt Murdock. As well as creating the aforementioned characters, Lee famously cameod in every single MCU project until his death in 2018, with his final Marvel cameo coming in Avengers: Endgame.
Per Homes of Celebs, Stan Lee’s Los Angeles residence is now on the market, being sold by his daughter J.C. Lee. The $8.8 million dollar home might be outside the price range of 99% of Stan Lee’s fans. But, the Spider-Man memorabilia might make that price tag worth it to someone. In the foyer stands three life-size Spider-Man statues. Each statue is holding a different pose, and each one has been signed by Stan Lee. The home also comes fit with a cinema room, meaning you can show every guest Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and explain why it’s the best one.
If, for some bizarre reason, you’re using MovieWeb to find your next home rather than just speaking to an estate agent, then here are the details for the rest of the home. The 5,200 square ft home comes with three bedrooms and seven bathrooms, as well as a walk-in wardrobe with more than enough space for all your Spider-Man cosplay. As well as a beautiful kitchen, living room, foyer, bedrooms, and bathrooms, the house comes with a swimming pool, and a sauna and steam room.
Excelsior! Stan Lee’s Legacy Continues

Stan Lee’s legacy still looms large over the superhero industry. Lee is arguably the most famous comic book writer of all-time, thanks to his large persona, and big screen cameos. The creator would have been 102 this year, and his influence is still felt on the big screen. While Lee filmed his last ever MCU cameo for Endgame before his death, he has appeared in newer Marvel movies through pictures, newspaper clippings, and graffiti. The Stan Lee cameo may be an MCU trend that never dies.
There have been talks of a Stan Lee biopic for over a decade. At one point, Leonardo DiCaprio was attached to star as a younger Stan Lee, showing his rise to becoming a comic book icon during the 40s and 50s. However, momentum on the project halted, and the biopic has been stuck in development hell ever since.

Excelsior!

Stan Lee also made cameos outside the MCU. Despite being a lifelong Marvel fan, Stan Lee appeared in DC’s Teen Titans Go! To the Movies. Perhaps his most famous non-Marvel cameo came in Kevin Smith’s Mallrats. Smith and Lee were very close friends, and the comic book legend only had one condition for appearing in the film. Smith explained:

“[Stan Lee] goes, ‘Well, here’s the thing, Kevin. You have me in this movie talking about the girl that got away in a very lovely monologue. If I’m in a movie as me, talking about the girl that got away, the girl I got at home will lock the door and not let me back in the house. What I’m suggesting is we put in one more scene where I talk about how I was just kidding.”

The next MCU project to hit theaters is Captain America: Brave New World, which releases on February 14, 2025.
