Oct 27, 2024

Nickelodeon has announced that they have renewed The Patrick Star Show for a fourth and fifth season, each consisting of 13 episodes. The news may come as a surprise for some who don’t remember the SpongeBob SquarePants spinoff being renewed for a third season. A decision was subsequently made to split the second installment into two seasons (2 and 3) to keep their sizes more consistent with the season lengths currently consumed on streaming where all shows ultimately end.The 12-episode second season ended its run in August, with Season 3, plus a supersized holiday special, launching earlier this week. The Patrick Star Show, the second SpongeBob SquarePants spinoff, stars Patrick (Bill Fagerbakke) and the rest of his family as they are constantly disrupted by his wild whims and surreal imagination.During the New York Comic-Con panel, in which the series made its announcement, The Patrick Star Show revealed a clip from the upcoming “Thanks But No Thanksgiving” episode, in which the Stars celebrate Thanksgiving with Bunny’s side of the family in Klopnod, and first-look images of the half-hour holiday special “Squidina’s Holidaze Special,” where Squidina has to direct her school holiday play, but her script was mangled by Patrick.Check out the clip below, and let us know if you’re looking forward to more seasons of The Patrick Star Show!via: Deadline
