Khloe Kardashian is not keeping up with the current dating scene.

Three years after her breakup with basketball pro Tristan Thompson—father to her daughter True, 6, and son Tatum, 2—The Kardashians star revealed that she is single and not looking to take on a new relationship.

“Dating has not been a focus for me, and I’ve been single for about three years and love it. I really, really do,” she said in an interview with Bustle published Dec. 3. “But I’m not single and dating. I’m just single. I have such power and strength in that.”

“I feel like I’m working on myself so much and am getting to such a good place that I just don’t want something to disrupt it,” she continued. “I don’t know if it’s just me, but dating today is very scary.”

Amid a world of dating apps and various characters sliding into her DMs, the 40-year-old detailed the difficulties of looking for her person as a single mother living in the spotlight.
