What Happened with Yuri in ‘XO, Kitty’?

Our favorite rich girl and intimidating DJ, Yuri, was in for a rough ride this season. Even though Juliana returned to KISS, heartfelt moments between Yuri and Kitty led them to kiss, and the end of Juliana and Yuri’s relationship was inevitable. Kitty was left confused, whereas Yuri was filled with instant regret. Yuri’s cold behavior after their intimate moment put out any fire that was there, and their love triangle found an end.
Out of all the XO, Kitty characters, Yuri is arguably the one whose future holds the most uncertainty. In the last episode of the widely loved rom-com series, Yuri’s hopes were crushed when she finds out that her ex-girlfriend had no intention of getting back together. Seemingly heartbroken, Yuri ends up in a conversation with her older brother, Alex. However, instead of encouragement, Alex only has more devastating news to deliver.
Dae’s father, who works as a driver for Han Group, the company of Yuri’s father, was in a car accident. He was dozing off, because he was forced to work excessive hours, putting him and others in danger. As a consequence of a class action lawsuit against Han Group, Yuri’s father’s assets were all frozen, leaving them before an existential crisis, which means they could lose everything.

Did Kitty’s Family Reunite in Seoul?

Kitty’s grandmother left South Korea for a man, and it caused a rift between her and her sister. They broke off their contact, but letters proved that Kitty’s mother, Eve, and her cousin, Simon, were set on reuniting the family just before Eve passed away. Netflix knows how to tackle family drama, because this one is set up in a way that has you kicking the TV.
Kitty being Kitty, she continued to follow in her mother’s footsteps and, with the help of Min Ho as a translator and emotional support, she managed to arrange for her grandmother and her older sister, Margot, to visit. Even though there was bad blood between the sisters, it turned out that it was predominantly guilt that kept them apart. Once they reunited, love and forgiveness prevailed, and they were finally able to move on as a united family.
Who Does Kitty End Up with in Netflix’s ‘XO, Kitty’?

Season 1 of XO, Kitty ended with Kitty and Dae calling it quits amicably and Min Ho confessing his feelings on the plane, which set the second season of the Netflix series up for some complications. Dae still had feelings for Kitty, but was quickly turned down, and Min Ho acted as nonchalant as ever. Exploring her sexuality, Kitty started dating Praveena, but couldn’t hide how she felt about Yuri. When Juliana and Yuri were in a rough spot after a fight, Yuri and Kitty shared a kiss, which eventually ruined Kitty’s chances with Praveena and Juliana and Yuri’s relationship. Even though the romantic tension Kitty felt towards Yuri in Season 2 raised hopes that they would end up together, they only ended up as friends again. For good.
Kitty’s friendship with Min Ho was one of the main aspects throughout the entire series, and he started dating a new girl named Stella. Stella, who was endearingly (or not) known as the “Ohio Weirdo,” did actually turn out to be a fraud on numerous levels. This girl could easily be the main character in some of the best crime TV shows. Caught up in a rage after she was deemed not beautiful enough by Min Ho’s father during a singing competition, she changed her name and appearance, and was set on using Min Ho to dig up dirt on his father and ruin his empire.
Thanks to much-needed real talk during Noah Centineo’s surprise appearance in XO, Kitty, Kitty started to see the feelings she had for Min Ho. Wanting to look out for him, she was able to prove that Stella was indeed a fraud, and they were able to put an end to the blackmail. Upon saying goodbye at the end of the semester, Kitty and Min Ho seemingly failed to open up about their feelings, but when Min Ho explained that him and his father would join his brother’s tour, Kitty gathered all her courage and asked if she could tag along. This clearly leaves fans hoping that their shared time will finally lead to some developments in the love department.

Will Kitty Return to KISS in ‘XO, Kitty’ Season 3?

At the beginning of the semester, Kitty was in the belief that it was going to be her last one at KISS, as the backlash the school was facing due to cheating scandals and the previous headmaster stepping down caused some financial issues. As a result, Kitty’s heritage scholarship was cut, and her days at KISS were numbered.
However, with the school successfully pulling off a concert, donors found new interest in supporting KISS. The financial gain allowed the headmaster to grant Kitty’s extension request, and she was invited back for the next semester. There are numerous promising series coming in 2025, but hopes of receiving news about a renewal of XO, Kitty this year are high. Even though XO, Kitty Season 3 hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, the last episode of Season 2 certainly sets everything up for a continuation of Kitty’s story. Also, let’s be honest, we all want to see a kiss between Kitty and Min Ho. XO, Kitty is available to stream on Netflix.
