Why Lala Kent Says Beyoncé is Behind Her Decision to Not Reveal the Name of Her Second Baby

Even Lala Kent bows down to Beyoncé.

That’s why the Vanderpump Rules star decided against announcing her second baby‘s name on the latest episode of her Give Them Lala podcast, which fell exactly on the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer’s 43rd birthday.

“Today is Beyoncé’s birthday,” Lala said on the Sept. 4 episode. “We can’t announce today.”

And according to the 34-year-old, “no one’s gonna give a s–t” about her newborn daughter’s name if she revealed it on the Grammy winner’s b’day. So, she decided to postpone the big reveal to not have it be “shadowed” by all other festivities.

“I’m gonna wait,” Lala added, before teasing the first initial of the infant. “Baby S deserves her moment.”

Lala—who is mom to daughter Ocean, 4, with ex Randall Emmett—gave birth to her second child on Sept. 3. At the time, she shared an audio clip to her Instagram Stories of the little one’s first cries.

Lala wrote in the accompanying caption, “Welcome into the world, my love.”
