Zendaya, Michelle Yeoh And Michelle Pfeiffer Initial 2024 Oscars Presenters
Mar 3, 2024
The 76th Academy Awards are less than two weeks away and this morning AMPAS revealed the ceremony’s first round of celebrity presenters. In no surprise, and a longtime Oscars tradition, the four acting winners from 2023, Michelle Yeoh, Brendan Fraser, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Ke Huy Quan are returning. Thankfully, red carpet superstar and well, general, emerging superstar Zendaya is on board as well.

In a collaboration with her stylist Law Roach, Zendaya has been killing it on the “Dune: Part II” press tour proving how the right red carpet look can be worth millions of free publicity. This will be the “Euphoria” star’s fourth time attending the Oscars and her third time this decade. Outside of “Dune,” she does have Luca Guadagnino’s delayed romantic comedy “Challengers” arriving in April to promote.
Other presenters announced include Jessica Lange, Matthew McConaughey, Lupita Nyong’o, Al Pacino, Sam Rockwell, and Michelle Pfeiffer. Which means no “stunt” presenters so far.
This year’s ceremony features executive producer and showrunner Raj Kapoor and executive producers, Molly McNearney and Katy Mullan. Jimmy Kimmel is back as host.
As for the show itself, there have been rumors Ryan Gosling has been convinced to perform his Best Song-nominated “I’m Just Ken,” but, if true, that likely will not be announced until after voting is completed. Billie Eilish is expected to perform her already Grammy Award-winning Song of the Year, “What Was I Made For?,” Jon Batiste is also likely to perform “It Never Went Away,” and Becky G to get her moment on the Oscar stage for “The Fire Inside” (although let’s hope someone has told her she’s not an actual nominee). And you can expect the Osage Tribal Singers to perform “Wahzhazhe (A Song For My People).”
The 96th Oscars will air live on ABC and broadcast outlets worldwide on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the new time of 7 p.m. EDT/4 p.m. PDT.

Amy Adams Sinks In Vapid, Misguided Alcoholism Drama By ‘Pieces of a Woman’ Director [Berlin]
For a solid decade, starting in the late 2000s with Disney’s charming fairytale comedy “Enchanted” all the way to Denis Villeneuve’s melancholy sci-fi “Arrival,” it was easy to trust Amy Adams, a six-time Academy Award nominee. Then, somewhere around Ron…

Mason Gooding & James Van Der Beek’s Bad Night Is Aggressively Dull
Ever since the Scream franchise helped put him on the map, Mason Gooding has been a great talent to watch. The genre-bending slasher Heart Eyes is still his best non-franchise role yet, but he's also branched outside of horror in…
