New Deadpool 3 Synopsis Is So Brief and Self-Congratulatory It Could Have Been Written by Deadpool Himself
Jun 26, 2023
Fans of Deadpool have already been given more than they could want from Deadpool 3, with Hugh Jackman hinting at multiple Wolverines showing up in the movie and Ryan Reynolds promising that Deadpool’s return with be everything fans come to expect from the R-rated franchise. The arrival of a new synopsis for Deadpool 3 should therefore be more reason to celebrate, but the content of the movie’s blurb is almost so short it seems like one of Deadpool’s own moments of mockery. The new synopsis of the movie reads:
“Another chapter in the raunchy, violent, and of course, hilarious Deadpool series.”
Yes, folks, that is all for now. It is almost like the Merc with a Mouth is standing there looking at the disappointment on your face as you read it. However, it is early days for Deadpool 3, with filming yet to begin and the movie still being well over a year away from being released. Thankfully, a previously releases storyline revealed a little more about the plot of the movie, reading:

“A weary Wolverine finds himself recovering from his injuries when he comes across a loudmouth Deadpool who has time travelled forward to heal his greatest pal in the hopes to befriend the wild beast and to team up to take down a foe they both have in common.”
Both Reynolds and Jackman have been more than happy to share training videos, online barbs and plenty of teased about what may or may not happen in the multiversal movie that will finally bring Deadpool into the MCU for better or worse – probably the former for audiences but certainly the latter for other inhabitants of the Marvel Universe. It is clear though that those who have been waiting to see more from Deadpool for five years now will be almost unable to wait another 18 months to finally see all their bloody, expletive-filled dreams coming true.

The teaming up of Wolverine and Deadpool, two characters who can self-repair their bodies and have a long comic book history of beating each other to a pulp, is one that is already a hugely tantalizing prospect for long-term fans. However, Hugh Jackman has dropped a hint that there will be multiple variants of Wolverine in Deadpool 3, which is something that even the wildest theories had not contemplated.
Carnage is already guaranteed with just one Wolverine taking issue with Deadpool’s antics, so to imagine several variants of the character turning up is something that will have to be seen to be believed. In the build up to his return, Jackman has been working out, and revealed in a recent interview exactly how much goes into getting in shape for the role.
“It’s 6,000 calories. About 6,000 calories a day. I think at the moment, I’m building up, at about 4,000-5,000 calories. I wore a heart rate monitor as Harold Hill. So, my trainer said I need to know what I’m working with here, because I’m trying to bulk up. So, I burn 1,500 calories during the show, eight times a week. She said, you got to eat!”
Deadpool 3 is scheduled to be released on November 8, 2024 as part of Phase 6 of the MCU.
