Deadpool & Wolverine Must Save The Marvel Multiverse In Deadpool 3 Fan Trailer
Aug 2, 2023
Summary
Deadpool 3 is set to be a major new chapter for the assassin, with the return of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and set photos suggesting a higher level of action and excitement. The fan trailer addresses the possibility of other FOX-Marvel properties making an appearance, including characters from films produced outside of Marvel Studios. Including films like Fantastic Four and the X-Men prequel franchise in Deadpool 3 would make for a unique and exciting conclusion to the trilogy, especially in the context of Marvel’s Multiverse Saga.
A new Deadpool 3 fan trailer shows Wade Wilson and Wolverine traveling through the Marvel multiverse. One of Phase 5’s biggest Marvel Cinematic Universe movies is Deadpool 3, which will finally see Ryan Reynolds join the Avengers-based franchise. Despite the X-Men getting rebooted in the MCU, Reynolds will get to continue playing Deadpool, which is bound to come with the biggest case of fourth wall breaking in Wade’s franchise.
While many plot details being kept under wraps, it’s clear Deadpool 3 is going big as a trilogy finale, based on Hugh Jackman coming back as Wolverine, and set photos that indicate the film is taking things to the next level. Based on this, a new Deadpool 3 fan trailer by Screen Culture depicts Wade addressing FOX getting acquired by Disney, and how the previous X-Men film franchise is over.
Throughout the Deadpool 3 fan trailer, Wade informs Wolverine that the Time Variance Authority wants to recruit him to save the Marvel multiverse. This is also how they factor in the return of Jennifer Garner as Elektra, which has fueled speculation that Ben Affleck’s Daredevil is coming back too.

Could Other FOX-Marvel Properties Be Featured In Deadpool 3?
Even though Deadpool 3 isn’t filming at the moment, there have been theories floating around that the film might serve as a proper end to FOX’s Marvel franchise. With set photos even showing a destroyed 20th Century Fox logo, it seems likely Deadpool 3 is going to feature even more Marvel films and characters that were produced outside of Marvel Studios. If Elektra can come back after nearly two decades, the possibilities are endless for Deadpool 3 before Wade is fully integrated into the MCU.
Deadpool 3 could be the way that films like Fantastic Four, The New Mutants, and even the X-Men prequel franchise get to have one last hurrah. In the case of the Fantastic Four movies from the 2000s, this would be a fun way to bring back Chris Evans to the MCU, but as Johnny Storm, who he played before taking on the role of Captain America. If Deadpool 3 wanted to take it a step further, they could also include 2015’s Fantastic Four, which features Black Panther’s Michael B. Jordan as that world’s Human Torch.
As bizarre as it would be to see some of FOX’s old Marvel films included with Deadpool 3, it would be one of the rarest trilogy finales of all time for the superhero genre. This would also be the proper time to do it for Marvel Studios, as they are in the midst of The Multiverse Saga, leading into Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. Hopefully, once Deadpool 3 is able to resume production, more information will start to emerge in terms of what other mysteries the film has in store for the audience.
