Watch 14 Fun Minutes of Deleted Scenes For GALAXY QUEST — GeekTyrant
Oct 7, 2023
The 1999 sci-fi comedy Galaxy Quest is a favorite sci-fi comedy for a lot of people. This movie is so awesomely entertaining and I’ve revisited it a lot over the years. But, I don’t recall ever watching the deleted scenes from the film, which seems crazy to me! I was recently doing some research for a project and came across this video that I had to share. If you’ve never seen these before, this is going to be a real treat for you!The film’s star Tim Allen shared over 14-minutes of deleted scenes from the film that you can watch below. The video came with the note: “This was probably the most fun I have ever had working on a film, science fiction has always been one of my favorite genres. Such a professional and focused cast; not even the rock monster broke character (and he was very concerned about his figure on camera).”The deleted scenes in the video include Fred solving a problem in the Berrylium Shere room; The actors walking around on the rock planet; Alex’s motivation speech; Gwen distracting Sarris’s guards; Guy struggling with Sarris, and more. They all have some great humor in them! The movie was directed by Dean Parisot, and it also stars Sigourney Allen, Sam Rockwell, and Justin Long. Enjoy the video!
