Marvel Studios’ Next Disney+ Series Premieres On January 10, 2024

Nov 3, 2023

Next January, no bad good will go unpunished when Marvel Studios‘ latest Disney+ series “Echo” premieres. Subscribers to the streamer will already be available with Alaqua Fox‘s antiheroine from the 2021 series “Hawkeye.” But “Echo” is a standalone series for Lopez, seeing Echo take center stage as she squares off against Vincert D’Onofrio‘s Wilson Fisk, aka: Kingpin.

But that’s not all Echo gets up to in the five-episode series. After the events of “Hawkeye,” Echo leaves NYC for her hometown in Oklahoma, where she confronts her family, her heritage, and a rage-filled legacy with Fisk. What fate will Echo ultimately decide on, and will her powers be used for vengeance, healing, or worse? It’s worth nothing: “Echo” is the first Marvel Disney+ series to receive a TV-MA rating.
Along with Fox and D’Onofrio, “Echo” also stars Chaske Spencer, Graham Greene, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, and Zahn McClarnon.  Cody Lightning and Charlie Cox, reprising his role as Matt Murdoch/Daredevil, round out the main cast.
Sydney Freeland and Catriona McKenzie share directing duties on “Echo.”  Kevin Feige leads executive producers on the series with Stephen Broussard, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Victoria Alonso, Richie Palmer, Jason Gavin (Blackfeet), Marion Dayre, and Freeland.  Jennifer L. Booth and Amy Rardin also serve as co-executive producers.
“Echo” premieres on Disney+ on January 10, 2024. The entire five-episode series will also be available on Hulu until April 9. Watch a trailer for “Echo” below.
