This week’s retro trailer is for the 1895 Italian horror thriller Creepers aka Phenomena, a film directed by Dario Argento and starring Jennifer Connelly. The film’s narrative centers around Jennifer Corvino (Connelly), a young American girl who is sent to a Swiss boarding school. At the school, Jennifer discovers she possesses an unusual ability to communicate with insects. This talent becomes crucial when she becomes embroiled in a series of gruesome murders happening around the school and the nearby town. With the help of a local entomologist, Dr. John McGregor (Donald Pleasence), she uses her ability to unravel the mysteries behind the violent deaths and confronts the sinister forces at play.I went through a phase where I was watching every Italian horror movie that I could get my hands on and this is a good one worth checking out if you’ve never seen it. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think!
