Spider-Man, Daredevil, The Punisher and More Unite to Take on the Kingpin in Stunning Fan Art
Nov 16, 2023
Summary
Tom Holland’s next Spider-Man movie may pick up after the events of Daredevil Born Again, leading to a team-up between Spider-Man and Daredevil to take on the Kingpin. The fan art reveals that Kingpin will not only face off against Spider-Man and Daredevil, but also other street-level heroes like Hawkeye, Punisher, Luke Cage, and Jessica Jones. While combining characters from different Marvel universes is interesting, a Spidey vs. Venom encounter followed by a face-off against The Sinister Six could make for an epic cinematic event. Marvel and Sony just need a well-written screenplay.
Who will the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man face off against in Tom Holland’s next big-screen adventure? The world may not remember that Peter Parker (Holland) is Marvel’s web-slinging superhero, after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, but that doesn’t change the fact that the Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) is still a threat — particularly in some intriguing new fan art. @artoftimetravel writes in an Instagram post:
“There’s a rumor that @tomholland2013 ‘s fourth Spider-man movie will pick up directly after the events of Daredevil Born Again. Really hope this is true, been waiting for a team-up movie between Spidey and Daredevil! And of course, having Kingpin as the villain would be icing on the cake. In the artwork, Kingpin, aka Wilson Fisk, haunts the streets of Hell’s Kitchen just outside of Josie’s Bar in New York City. The criminal mastermind is ready to wreak havoc, but two superheroes stand in his way. While just enough of their costumes are shown to reveal Spider-Man and Daredevil (Charlie Cox) have teamed up, more of Marvel Comics’ stars remain unseen. And Kingpin finds himself severely outnumbered.

Marvel’s Defenders+ Versus the Kingpin
The new fan art posted by @artoftimetravel on Instagram reveals Tom Holland’s Spidey teaming up with Daredevil (Cox) to take on the Kingpin (D’Onofrio) in the streets of Hell’s Kitchen. However, another piece of artwork from the same Instagram user paints the entire picture, and the villain has no chance of defeating this super-powered team. @artoftimetravel writes in a second post, which complements the first:
“Hoping to see more street level action in @tomholland2013 fourth Spider-Man film. It is rumored that Kingpin will start a war against the street level heroes of New York and Spider-Man and Daredevil will team up against him. Do you want to see this and what heroes do you want to see show up? Follow @artoftimetravel for more art. Credit to @cavin_creations for the Spider-Man suit pic.”

The second piece of artwork reveals that Kingpin will have to match wits with more than just Spider-Man and Daredevil. Rather, Fisk finds that Kate Bishop’s version of Hawkeye (Hailee Steinfeld), the Punisher (Jon Bernthal), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) are all closing in on him outside of Josie’s Bar.
While the concept of combining characters from the MCU, Disney+ and Netflix’s Marvel creations is intriguing, a fourth Tom Holland Spider-Man movie could also do itself a huge favor by pitting Spidey and Venom (Tom Hardy) against one another, at first. And, as the story progresses, let the webslinger and symbiote have a little bromance as they face off against an even deadlier threat like The Sinister Six. All the pieces are in place for such a cinematic event. Marvel and Sony need only the courage and a well-penned screenplay to get the ball rolling.
