For a long time now, fans of “The Witcher” knew that Henry Cavill wasn’t going to return for Season 4 and that he would be replaced by Liam Hemsworth. The first look video doesn’t give anything away from what is going to happen in Season 4 of the series. In essence, the first look is, well, just a first look at Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia. And he looks… fine. He definitely doesn’t look like Cavill, but he wears the wig well, I suppose.
“The Witcher” stars Liam Hemsworth, Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, Joey Batey, Laurence Fishburne, Eamon Farren, Anna Shaffer, Mimî M Khayisa, Cassie Clare, Mahesh Jadu, Meng’er Zhang, Sharlto Copley, Hugh Skinner, and James Purefoy. “The Witcher” is created and showrun by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich.
“The Witcher” Season 4 doesn’t currently have a release date from Netflix. You can watch the first look below.
Here’s the synopsis:
After the shocking, Continent-altering events that close out season three, the new season follows Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri who are faced with traversing the war-ravaged Continent and its many demons apart from each other. If they can embrace and lead the groups of misfits they find themselves in, they have a chance of surviving the baptism of fire and finding one another again.
