We should have fully expected “Poker Face” to be a hit series. Natasha Lyonne is one of the best actors working today, and she’s had an exception run on TV. Not only that, but Rian Johnson seemingly can’t miss nowadays. But still, the series was a pleasant surprise when it debuted in 2023. Now, as we approach Season 2, expectations are sky high, especially with the new cast coming to the series.

Here’s the synopsis for the series:
Poker Face is a mystery-of-the-week series following Natasha Lyonne’s Charlie, who has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. She hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and with every stop encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can’t help but solve.
As mentioned, the show is executive produced by Rian Johnson, as well as Natasha Lyonne. The series is showrun by Tony Tost, who is probably best known for the film “Americana” and his TV work on shows like “Damnation,” “The Terror,” and “Longmire.”
It’s unclear when we might see “Poker Face” Season 2 arrive. If production is beginning now, then we might have to wait until 2025.
