First Look at the Werewolf Monster From the New WOLF MAN Movie Is Not What I Was Expecting — GeekTyrant
Sep 11, 2024
So, we’ve got our first look at the redesigned werewolf monster from the upcoming Wolf Man movie that is being produced by Universal Pictures and Blumhouse. The monster was featured at a pop-up at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights, and I’ve gotta say, it looks pretty silly as it has a cartoonish style. It’s definitely not what I was expecting and it’s not scary at all. I guess I was expecting something more like the traditional Wolfman design. We’ll just have to wait and see what this thing looks like on the big screen in the completed film. This version of this Wolf Man film centers on a family that finds themselves dealing with a horrific situation when a werewolf bites the family’s father. We actually saw some footage from this movie at CinemaCon earlier this year and it looks like it might be a good movie! The movie comes from Invisible Man director Leigh Whannell, and it stars Julia Garner as the wife, and Christopher Abbott as the father. The script for the film was written by Whannell and Corbett Tuck as well as Lauren Schuker Blum and Rebecca Angelo, the latter duo previously wrote the comedic drama, Dumb Money. Gosling is still on board as an executive producer along with Jason Blum. The movie is set to be released via Universal on Friday, October 25, 2024.
