Sep 16, 2024

Adam Sandler has announced that Happy Gilmore 2 has started production, and he shared a little behind-the-scenes photo to get fans hyped. The photo features Happy’s Boston Bruins jersey, and Sandler alludes to a scene from the original movie in a caption with the image saying “It ain’t over. The way I see it… we’ve only just begun.” Kyle Newacheck (Murder Mystery) is directing the sequel from a script by Sandler and Tim Herlihy. There are no details about the plot of the movie yet.Sandler previously talked about the film, saying: “We’re going to do Happy Gilmore, thank you. This is happening. We’re getting ready to shoot it in New Jersey. We start in a couple weeks. “It’s good. We worked hard on the script. We didn’t want to let anybody down. People have been asking me for a long time. We’re really excited about it. We wrote our asses off. So many of the golfers are being nice and will be a part of it.”It’ll be interesting to see what kind of story the sequel will tell, but it’ll be a lot of fun to see what all these characters are up to in their lives all these years later.
