Oct 17, 2024

The latest episode of “The Penguin” ended with quite the twist, one that sees Cristin Milioti‘s Sofia Falcone as the new frontrunner to take over Gotham’s underworld. HBO‘s exclusive new mid-season trailer for New York Comic-Con lets audiences know what’s on Sofia’s mind.   “We kill Oz, then we take over the city,” she tells her henchmen. That means the Max series’ body count will only get higher, and there’s going back between the queen pin and her former driver. Will Oz survive, and will his young protege Victor (Rhenzy Feliz) be able escape his clutches?
Along with Farrell, Milioti, and Feliz, “The Penguin” also stars Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirde O’Connell, Clancy Brown, and James Madio.  Scott Cohen, Michael Zegen, Carmen Ejogo, and Theo Rossi.
Lauren LeFranc serves as showrunner on “The Penguin.” Shee also executive produces the series with “The Batman” director Matt Reeves, Craig Zobel, Dylan Clark, Farrell, Bill Carraro, Daniel Pipski, and Lauren LeFranc. “The Penguin” is a 6th & Idaho Productions and Dylan Clark Productions co-production, in association with Warner Bros. Television.
Four episodes remain in “The Penguin”: who will be at the top of Gotham’s criminal world when the season ends? And how will its finale set up Reeves’ upcoming “The Batman” sequel? Find out as new episodes of the show premiere every Sunday through November 10. Watch the NYCC mid-season trailer below.
