Shaak Ti, Luminara Unduli, Savage Opress, & More

Oct 30, 2024

Hasbro has officially announced a new wave of Star Wars action figures, featuring some of the most iconic Jedi from the prequel era. Hasbro has become much loved by collectors for its popular six-inch Star Wars: The Black Series range. The toy manufacturer used MCM Comic Con London and the Hasbro 1027 livestream event to unveil exciting new collectibles, unveiling some of the most popular background characters from the prequel era – and some unique new designs.

Star Wars: The Black Series Sebulba
A unique action figure nobody expected

Price $24.99 Available Summer, 2025 Accessories Goggles and creature accessory Available from October 30 at 1PM EST on Hasbro Pulse and fan channel retailers

Anakin Skywalker’s rival podracer is one of the most impressive Black Series action figures in years. Sebulba’s design necessitates a unique mold, meaning he can’t possibly be reused; that meant most collectors assumed he’d never make his debut in this range. It’s thrilling to see Hasbro push the boundaries, creating something so distinctive.

Star Wars: The Black Series Luminara Unduli
A revered Jedi Master

Price $24.99 Available Summer, 2025 Accessories Lightsaber Available from October 30 at 1PM EST on Hasbro Pulse and fan channel retailers

A revered Clone Wars Jedi Master, Luminara Unduli was the mentor to Barriss Offee and is a popular figure in the fandom (in part because of some tremendous arcs in the old Star Wars Expanded Universe). This figure is one of the most beautiful and detailed in the Black Series line to date, and is a tremendous new collectible.

Star Wars: The Black Series Shaak Ti
Another legendary Jedi Master

Price $24.99 Available Summer, 2025 Accessories Lightsaber Available from October 30 at 1PM EST on Hasbro Pulse and fan channel retailers

Another legendary Jedi Master from the prequel era, Shaak Ti has one of the most stunning designs Lucas ever created – which makes it extremely ironic how many times Lucas considered Shaak Ti’s death. This is another beautiful, intricate action figure from Hasbro, a breathtakingly accurate representation of the Togruta Jedi Master with her sweeping montrals. It’s a must-buy for collectors.

Star Wars: The Black Series Savage Opress
Darth Maul’s monstrous apprentice

Price $33.99 Available Summer, 2025 Accessories Saberstaff and vibro-axe Available from Hasbro Pulse

And you thought George Lucas gave Darth Maul a name that’s rather on-the-nose. Savage Opress was Darth Maul’s sibling, and – empowered by Dathomiri magick – he’s an absolute powerhouse. This particular Star Wars: The Black Series figure has a heftier price-point, but that’s understandable given its sheer size and sweeping saberstaff – and he rounds out some very impressive announcements indeed from Hasbro.
