What are CIA agents supposed to do when they are pulled deep cover missions and asked to go back home? That’s the question at the heart of the new political thriller, “The Agency.”

As seen in the new trailer for the series, “The Agency” tells the story of a man who is ordered to abandon his undercover life and come back home. However, he’s not just abandoning work, but he’s also leaving behind a woman that he loves. And when she shows up yet again in his life, things get a lot more complicated. 

The series stars Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Katherine Waterston, John Magaro, Alex Reznik, Andrew Brooke, Harriet Sansom Harris, India Fowler, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, Reza Brojerdi, and Richard Gere. Acclaimed filmmaker Joe Wright has directed the first two episodes.

Here’s the synopsis:
