Harley & Ivy Go To Metropolis In DC’s Animated Series

While the DCU kicked off with “Creature Commandos” recently, that’s far from the only DC animated project that is going strong. In fact, we’re already bracing ourselves for Season 5 of “Harley Quinn.”

As seen in the trailer, Season 5 of “Harley Quinn” marks a bit of a new beginning for the beloved Harley and Ivy, as they venture into the world of Metropolis. That’s right, the Gotham duo are moving into Superman’s turf. There they’ll run into Lex Luthor, Braniac, and all sorts of Superman characters.

The voice cast includes Kaley Cuoco, Lake Bell, James Adomian, Diedrich Bader, Ron Funches, Stephen Fry, Natalie Morales, JB Smoove, Alan Tudyk, and Aisha Tyler. The series is showrun by Dean Lorey. You might have heard about Lorey recently, as he played a major role in bringing “Creature Commandos” to life.

“Harley Quinn” Season 5 is set to debut on Max on January 16. You can watch the trailer below.
Here’s the synopsis:
The fifth season of HARLEY QUINN finds Harley (Kaley Cuoco) and Ivy (Lake Bell) in a new location: Metropolis! – the home of all things Superman, Lois Lane, and the Daily Planet. Harley and Ivy discover that something sinister is at play and all is not what it seems. Looming threats include Lex Luthor and his sister, Lena Luthor, plus fan-favorite Brainiac. But of course, Harley’s crew of misfits and allies will join her on this irreverent journey that takes no prisoners in having fun in the DC sandbox.
