Marvel Studios has unleashed a new clip from What If…? Season 3, and it features Captain America (Sam Wilson) and Monica Rambeau piloting massive Mechs as they come across a huge “Apex” Kaiju that they are eventually going to have to fight.The “Apex” Kaiju leads an army of monsters into the ocean. To fight this threat, the Avengers will assemble their Gundam-like Mech suits to form a massive Avenger robot that is clearly inspired by Voltron. I also included the list of titles for the episodes of Season 3, and they tease what we can expect to see from the episodes.Marvel Studios’ Head of Marvel Streaming, Television and Animation, Brad Winderbaum, teased Season 3, saying: “It takes us to places you’d never expect. “It goes beyond the first two seasons in its exploration of the Multiverse and it pulls in characters that are very unexpected. It has what I think is an extremely moving and fulfilling culmination for Uatu, The Watcher.” Marvel’s animated series returns for its culminating adventure through the multiverse. “Watch as classic characters make unexpected choices that will mutate their worlds into spectacular alternate versions of the MCU.“The Watcher (Jeffrey Wright) will guide viewers as the series traverses new genres, bigger spectacles, and incredible new characters.”The episodes are directed by Bryan Andrews and Stephan Franck and are written by Matthew Chauncey, Ryan Little, and A.C. Bradley. Executive producers are Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt, and Bryan Andrews.What If…? season 3 premieres on Disney+ on December 22 with a new episode daily for 8 days.
