Warner Bros. released a second trailer for director the upcoming sci-fi comedy Mickey 17, which comes from director Bong Joon-ho (Parasite) and stars Robert Pattinson. The trailer offers more insight into the story and it also gives us plaenty of great new footage to enjoy! This is going to be a ridicliusly fun movie! I’ve enjoyed everything that I’ve seen from it and I’m excited about experiencing this wild story! In the film, The unlikely hero, Mickey Barnes (Pattinson) has found himself in the extraordinary circumstance of working for an employer who demands the ultimate commitment to the job… to die, for a living.”The film is an adaptation of Edward Ashton’s novel, Mickey7, and the movie also stars Toni Collette, Mark Ruffalo, Steven Yeun, and Naomi Ackie.The description of the book reads: “The Martian meets Dark Matter in Edward Ashton’s high concept science fiction thriller, in which Mickey7, an ‘expendable,’ refuses to let his replacement clone Mickey8 take his place.“Dying isn’t any fun…but at least it’s a living.“Mickey7 is an Expendable: a disposable employee on a human expedition sent to colonize the ice world Niflheim.
