According to Deadline, Kate Mara is the latest actor to join the drama series, “Imperfect Women.” She joins a cast that already is headlined by Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington. That’s a trio featuring some of the best actors working today. The series is based on the 2021 novel by Araminta Hall and explores the decades-long friendship between three women. It’s a mystery series about a crime that complicates their friendship and forces them to reckon with secrets from their past.
Mara is no stranger to high profile projects. She’s also been in a number of recent acclaimed TV series such as “Class of ‘09,” “A Teacher,” and “Pose.” On the film side of things, she has several projects arriving soon such as “Friendship,” “The Dutchman,” and “The Astronaut.”

“Imperfect Women” is brought to us by Annie Weisman, who writes and executive produces. She’s worked with Apple previously with the Rose Byrne-led series, “Physical.” She also served as showrunner on the Peacock comedy series, “Based on a True Story.”
It’s unclear when we might see “Imperfect Women” arrive on Apple TV+. With the series casting now, perhaps we’ll see it in 2026. We’ll have to wait and see.
