Long-Awaited Sequel Arrives On Netflix On July 2

Jan 30, 2025

“The Old Guard 2” has been a long time coming: five years, in fact, if one counts from the first film’s July 10, 2020 premiere on Netflix. But all sorts of post-production delays derailed an earlier arrival time for the sequel. Filming on it wrapped in September 2022, but 2023 passed without any updates until last summer. Would “The Old Guard 2 ” ever see the light of day?

There’s not much to the 30-second clip, but another trailer should arrive before “The Old Guard 2” premieres this summer.
