Director Travis Knight has added two new actors to the cast of his live action Masters of the Universe movie, which is set up at Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel.Morena Baccarin (Deadpool) is set to take on the role of The Sorceress and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson (Captain America: Brave New World) has been cast as Fisto.They join Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man, Camila Mendes as Teela, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-at-Arms, Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw, Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man and Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops.The Sorceress is a powerful mystical guardian in Masters of the Universe, serving as the protector of Castle Grayskull and the keeper of its ancient secrets. Gifted with vast magical abilities, she grants Prince Adam the power to transform into He-Man and defends Eternia from threats like Skeletor and his minions. She is depicted with her signature falcon-themed attire, she can take the form of Zoar, a mystical bird, to travel and observe from afar. Though immensely powerful, her magic is tied to Castle Grayskull, limiting her ability to leave its walls for extended periods. The Sorceress guides He-Man and his allies while concealing a personal connection to Teela, her daughter, whom she gave up to ensure her safety and destiny.Fisto is a heroic warrior in Masters of the Universe, known for his strength and his signature oversized metal fist, which he uses to smash through obstacles and overpower enemies. He’s a rugged and battle-hardened fighter, and is a loyal ally to He-Man. He often resides in the Whispering Woods or fights alongside the Masters of the Universe to protect Eternia. There have been reports on what the story for this movie will entail, and they have fans worried. The film is said to the film introduces Adam as an ordinary man, working “a boring office job” in the “real world.” The Masters of the Universe stories are merely tales Adam heard as a little kid.The synopsis reads: “10-year-old Prince Adam who crashed to Earth in a spaceship and was separated from his magical Power Sword—the only link to his home on Eternia. “After tracking it down almost two decades later, Prince Adam is whisked back across space to defend his home planet against the evil forces of Skeletor. “But to defeat such a powerful villain, Prince Adam will first need to uncover the mysteries of his past and become He-Man: the most powerful man in the Universe!”Source: Deadline
