Grimes Makes Public Plea Elon Musk Over ‘Child’s Medical Crisis’

Feb 22, 2025

The indie electro-pop musician and producer Grimes made a public plea to Elon Musk, her ex-partner and father to her three kids, to get his attention over what she says is a medical emergency impacting one of their children.

“Plz respond about our child’s medical crisis. I am sorry to do this publicly, but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention,” Grimes, who real name is Claire Elise Boucher, said in a since-deleted post on the X (formerly Twitter), which Musk owns and operates, on Thursday.

The Canadian singer and Musk share three children: X Æ A-Xii, three-year-old daughter Exa Dark Sideræl and two-year-old son Tau Techno Mechanicus. “If you don’t want to talk to me, can you please designate or hire someone who can, so that we can move forward on solving this. This is urgent, Elon,” Grimes added on X, without specifying the nature of the medical emergency.

Grimes earlier this month also took to X to respond to Musk bringing their 4-year-old son to the White House for a press conference as Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) make moves to reduce government spending and cut the number of federal employees.

“He should not be in public like this,” Grimes tweeted. “I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh.” Musk has 12 known children with three different women. He welcomed a third child with Neuralink exec Shivon Zilis in 2024.

And author Ashley St. Clair on Feb. 14 claimed on X that she gave birth to Musk’s 13th child five months ago.
