Prime Video Officially Launches New Deal That Changes the Streaming Game Forever
Sep 16, 2026
It seems like streamers raise their prices every day. At the end of August, Apple TV raised the subscription service price by $2, bringing it to $14.99 a month. Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Paramount+, and Peacock have all raised prices over the past year, and each increase tests viewers’ willingness to keep the service. Why pay more if you don’t feel like you are getting more? Well, Prime Video’s new deal will offer subscribers one of the biggest streaming bundles ever. AMC+, MGM+, BritBox, Starz, and PBS Masterpiece are teaming up to launch a new $29.99 per month bundle on Prime Video in the U.S., according to The Wrap. With this new deal, viewers can watch programming ranging from AMC’s Immortal Series and The Walking Dead franchise alongside BritBox’s The Other Bennet Sister, MGM+’s upcoming Treasure Island, PBS Masterpiece’s Miss Scarlet, Starz’s Outlander: Blood of My Blood, and Prime Video titles such as Reacher, Off Campus, and Fallout. According to The Wrap, this bundle saves viewers nearly 39% compared to subscribing to each service individually. Prime Video Channels Head Ryan Pirozzi said in a statement:
“Today marks a milestone for our customers, the launch of the first-ever five-service streaming bundle on Prime Video. Our subscriptions and bundles business continues to see incredible growth because we stay focused on delivering unmatched selection, value and convenience. With AMC+, MGM+, BritBox, PBS Masterpiece, and Starz together, Prime Video customers get the premium entertainment they love, all in one place.”
Starz Networks president Alison Hoffman said:
“We are excited to partner with Amazon and four leading streaming services for this first-of-its-kind offering on Prime Video. This bundle truly has something for everyone, and Starz brings a distinctive mix of curated programming, including prestige historical dramas, gripping crime series, time-traveling fantasy and a robust slate of programming for women. As one of the top bundling partners in the industry, we continue to expand our reach to welcome new and broader audiences.”
Amy Leasca, AMC Global Media’s executive vice president of partner growth, added:
“We want to make it as easy as possible for passionate fans to find and enjoy the original shows and films that define AMC+. Working on Prime Video’s first five-service bundle, and being in some excellent company, is a meaningful moment for our flagship streaming service and for subscribers who love the ease, convenience and value that combined offerings like this can deliver.”
BBC Studios Direct to Consumer CEO Robert Schildhouse said the new bundle is a compelling new way to “deliver value while introducing even more viewers to the distinct British mysteries and dramas that define the BritBox brand.” Meanwhile, MGM+’s Michael Wright said the bundle would create a “singular destination for true lovers of great entertainment. We couldn’t be more excited to bring our slate to Prime Video customers in such a powerful way.” PBS Distribution President Andrew Downing called the new deal:
“[The] perfect vehicle to reach more viewers who crave authentic, character-driven and award-winning drama. This offering at this kind of value puts PBS Masterpiece’s storytelling in front of even more viewers and that’s a win for audiences and for public media.”
At $29.99 a month, this new six-streaming bundle is only $3 more a month than Netflix’s premium tier. The bundle for Disney+, Hulu, and HBO Max with ads costs $19.99 a month, while no ads brings the cost up to $32.99. Disney+ and HBO Max certainly have bigger titles than MGM+ or BritBox, but streaming programming from six unique platforms gives the Amazon bundle more variety. It is an incredible deal that is hard to pass up.
