Tom Holland and Jon Watts Discuss Spider-Man: Homecoming

Dec 18, 2022

In an interview with Mark S Allen, star Tom Holland and Director Jon Watts sit down to talk all things Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Tom discusses how anytime he wore the suit people would clamber on him to get a feel of the suit. They both go on to discuss when they both found out about being a part of the movie and then we see it. The world exclusive reveal of Tom’s Spider-Man tattoo on the base of his foot. Never shown before, a world foot exclusive for Mark and ABC10.
As you know Mark is our LA Correspondent so even thou Back to the Movies didn’t officially get this world exclusive it’s pretty cool we’re a part of it in this teeny tiny way.

Tom’s tattoo was done by Bang Bang Studios. A parlour regarded highly in the celebrity circle. Keith ‘Bang Bang’ McCurdy has tattooed the likes of Katy Perry, Cara Delevingne, Rihanna, and more. He’s basically the Nicky Clarke of the tattoo world. Tattoo’s of the foot are notiriously known for being the most painful and Tom admitted in the interview that it “hurt like hell”. The actor was brave enough to get this tattoo and hats off to him as they actually had to go over it more than once to make sure it was really stuck in there.
Check out the full interview below with Mark S Allen, Spider-Man: Homecoming director Jon Watts and of course spidey himself Tom Holland. I always remember when I saw Tom for the first time at the BAFTA awards this year. It was hilarious as Andrew Garfield came past and we were like “oh hello old Spiderman” and then Tom was right behind him, why hello “new Spiderman”.
