Alfonso Cuarón’s Series Starring Cate Blanchett Arrives In October

Ever since it was announced, we’ve been excited about the upcoming Apple TV+ series, “Disclaimer.” In fact, it topped our list of Most Anticipated TV series of 2024. What do you expect when there’s a series that stars Cate Blanchett and is directed by Alfonso Cuarón? Thankfully, we now know when we’ll get a chance to watch this show.

According to Apple, “Disclaimer” is set to arrive in October, and the studio released a first-look image to whet our appetites. The series tells the story of a TV journalist who receives a mysterious novel that sets her as the main character and reveals all of her deepest, darkest secrets.
The cast for the series includes Cate Blanchett, Kevin Kline, Sacha Baron Cohen, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Lesley Manville, Louis Partridge, Leila George, and Hoyeon. “Disclaimer” is written and directed by Cuarón.
“Disclaimer” is expected to arrive on Apple TV+ on October 11. You can see the first look photo below.
Here’s the synopsis:
Acclaimed journalist Catherine Ravenscroft (Blanchett) built her reputation revealing the misdeeds and transgressions of others. When she receives a novel from an unknown author, she is horrified to realize she is now the main character in a story that exposes her darkest secrets. As Catherine races to uncover the writer’s true identity, she is forced to confront her past before it destroys both her own life and her relationships with her husband Robert (Sacha Baron Cohen) and their son Nicholas (Kodi Smit-McPhee).
