Ant Man 3 Clip Finds Scott Lang Lecturing His Fledgling Superhero Daughter
Apr 23, 2023
The latest look at the MCU sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania finds Scott Lang playing the role of superhero dad as he chastises his daughter, Cassie, for using Pym Particles. The clip, which has been released courtesy of The NerdTalk Show, picks up with Scott and Hope Van Dyne as they attempt to impart some superhero wisdom on Cassie, who has just spent the night in jail thanks to some super-powered antics. Check out the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania clip below.
During the attempted lecture, Scott learns that Cassie has not only been messing around with advanced tech but that she also now has her own superhero suit. A suit that is sure to come in handy when the trio gets sucked into the mysterious Quantum Realm. Of course, after definitively losing the argument, Scott’s status as a father figure is even more undercut when he reveals he has been listening to the audio version of his own book, Look Out for the Little Guy, which is real and is now available for purchase.
Cassie is due to play a major role in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania as she slowly learns the responsibilities and dangers that come with being a superhero—even facing off with the all-powerful Kang the Conqueror. “She has no idea what she’s doing. Cassie Lang has no idea what she’s doing,” says actress Kathryn Newton. “She wants to be a hero, and she’s face to face with the biggest supervillain of all time. It’s just — she’s gonna learn some lessons.”
