Apple’s Series Aims For Mars on November 10

Sep 13, 2023

Let’s run this again for the uninitiated: Apple TV+’s acclaimed, hit space drama “For All Mankind” is a historical “what if” about the 1960s space race and spotlights the high-stakes lives of astronauts and their families. The series dramatizes an alternate history depicting “what would have happened if the global space race had never ended” after the Soviet Union succeeded in the first crewed Moon landing ahead of the United States.

Now in its fourth season and way beyond that initial premise, “For All Mankind” blasts off into the millennium for season four, premiering globally on Friday, November 10 on Apple TV+. Today, Apple unveiled first-look images at the upcoming season of the award-winning series from creators and Golden Globe nominee and Emmy-award winner Ronald D. Moore and Emmy Award nominees Ben Nedivi and Matt Wolpert.
After the November 10 premiere, “For All Mankind” is followed by one new episode weekly every Friday through January 12, 2024.
Here’s the new synopsis:
Rocketing into the new millennium in the eight years since Season 3, Happy Valley has rapidly expanded its footprint on Mars by turning former foes into partners. Now 2003, the focus of the space program has turned to the capture and mining of extremely valuable, mineral-rich asteroids that could change the future of both Earth and Mars. But simmering tensions between the residents of the now-sprawling international base threaten to undo everything they are working towards.
The ensemble cast returning for season four includes Joel Kinnaman, Wrenn Schmidt, Krys Marshall, Edi Gathegi, Cynthy Wu, and Coral Peña, along with new series regulars Toby Kebbell, Tyner Rushing, Daniel Stern, and Svetlana Efremova.
