Captain America 4 Adds Harrison Ford & Giancarlo Esposito as MCU Villains
The Captain America sequel will add two acclaimed actors as the latest MCU villains, with Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad star Giancarlo Esposito now seemingly confirmed to be playing George Washington “G. W.” Bridge. A high-ranking S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who often works as a merciless mercenary, Esposito has long been a fan-favorite casting choice for various comic book movie roles. Speaking with Deadline recently, Esposito teased his Marvel role, describing his character as a “real badass.”
“In my other life, I’m a real badass, and you’ve seen me play a little bit of that intellectually as Gus Fring, but when you see me in the MCU, you’re going to see a badass, and I’m excited for that.”
Harrison Ford, meanwhile, will smash his way into the franchise as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross. While we already knew that the former U.S. Army general had made his way to the tippy top of government as President of the United States, it has now been confirmed that he will have far bigger problems than making speeches and fixing the economy. Yes, after months of speculation, it has now been revealed that Ford will transform into the Red Hulk. Something which will surely have fans hugely excited for the MCU movie’s release next year.
