Christoph Waltz Is A Maniac Executive In The Upcoming Prime Video Series

Christoph Waltz is an actor who is able to ride that fine line, in his performances, between scary and funny. You laugh at what he says but sometimes recoil in the darkness of the situation. And that very unique skill is put to good use in his new gig, as a scary executive in the series, “The Consultant.”
As seen in the new trailer for “The Consultant,” the series follows the story of a tech company that finds itself without a CEO after a tragic incident on site. In comes a new consultant (Waltz), who seems to be very strict and demanding, but also could be a sociopathic maniac. The fun is in finding out just what this guy actually is.

Joining Waltz in the series are actors such as Nat Wolff, Brittany O’Grady, and Aimee Carrero. The series is written, created, and showrun by Tony Basgallop. The writer-producer is probably best known for his series work on shows such as “24: Live Another Day,” “Berlin Station,” “Hotel Babylon,” and “Servant.”
All eight episodes of “The Consultant” premiere on February 24 on Prime Video. You can watch the trailer below.

Based on Bentley Little’s 2015 novel of the same name, the characters and story in this thrilling new series unfold in new and unexpected ways. When a new consultant, Regus Patoff (Christoph Waltz), is hired to improve the business at the App-based gaming company “CompWare,” employees experience new demands and challenges that puts everything into question… including their lives.
