The latest season of “Fargo” may be FX’s most anticipated new show this Fall, but it premieres last on its release slate, on November 21. The new season features Juno Temple, Jon Hamm, Joe Keery, and Sam Spurell in a new crime tale set in 2019 Minnesota and North Dakota. After Temple’s midwestern housewife gets in trouble with local authorities, the life she thought she left behind gradually unravels her domestic life. Richa Moorjani, Lamorne Morris, and Dave Foley also star.
And it wouldn’t be Fall on FX without a new “American Horror Story” installment. The network has plot details on “Delicate” tightly under wraps, but it stars Matthew Czuchry, Emma Roberts, Kim Kardashian, Cara Delevingne, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Zachary Quinto, and more. The first five episodes of the new series premiere starting on September 20, with the rest of the series arriving in 2023. FX also has the third season of “American Horror Stories,” a four-episode Halloween event exclusive to Hulu, premiering on October 26. Both series will also be available to stream on Disney+ at a later date.
Up next, “A Murder At The End Of The World,” premiering on November 14. The limited series stars Emma Corrin, Brit Marling, Harris Dickinson, Alice Braga, and Joan Chen in a mystery about a murder that takes place at a reclusive billionaire’s exotic retreat. Corrin’s amateur sleuth Darby Hart must use her tech-savvy hacking abilities to solve the crime before the killer claims their next victim. Raúl Esparza, Jermaine Fowler, Ryan J. Haddad, Pegah Ferydoni, and Javed Khan also star.
Finally, FX has The New York Times Presents: “How To Fix A Pageant,” premiering on September 29. The limited series explores how a pageant rigging scandal was unearthed after the Miss Universe company came under female ownership for the first time, complicating the legacy and public perception of events like Miss USA. The show includes interviews with previous pageant contestants, judges, and crew members. Nicole Rittenmeyer directs and produces the series, with reporting by Lauren Herstik.
So that’s FX’s Fall TV release schedule, with Ryan Reynolds‘ and Rob McElhenney‘s “Welcome To Wrexham” kicking things off on September 12. Stay tuned for trailers for all of these shows.
