Season 5 ended with June and her daughter, Nichole, traveling from Toronto. The book’s sequel “The Testaments,” is also set for an adaptation after ‘Tale’ concludes its run.

Elisabeth Moss once again leads the cast as the beleaguered June. The actress also directs the season’s first two episodes. Her directorial work in previous seasons drew praise from critics and viewers alike. Additional season six cast members include Yvonne Strahovski, Bradley Whitford, Max Minghella, Ann Dowd, O-T Fagbenle, Samira Wiley, Madeline Brewer, Amanda Brugel, Sam Jaeger, Ever Carradine, and Josh Charles.
