Jun 18, 2023

Netflix’s big promotional event, Tudum, is underway in Brazil, and they’ve shared a heap of news about their upcoming slate of films and shows. The streaming giant assembled a massive crowd in São Paulo, and instead of everything being pre-recorded, they had a bunch of cast members there in person to speak about their various projects.

Some of those highlights include actor Chris Hemsworth and director Sam Hargrave announcing that “Extraction 3” is officially in development, after previous chatter that the project is on the horizon if the second film was a big hit. Another action-focused announcement made at the event included Arnold Schwarzenegger revealing that Netflix is indeed moving forward with a second season of his spy comedy series “Fubar.” Schwarzenegger also helped introduce his “Terminator” co-star Linda Hamilton, who has joined the fifth season of “Stranger Things.” Also, “Squid Game” season two is going ahead by revealing that Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo are part of the cast.
It wasn’t just big announcements; oh, no, Netflix brought plenty of goodies in the form of clips/teasers/images for things such as the next season of “The Witcher,” the WWII drama series “All The Light We Cannot See” that features Hugh Laurie and Mark Ruffalo in supporting roles, the next installment of the “Lupin,” first-look images of their live-action series based on the anime “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” and a teaser trailer for their other anime to live-action adaptation, “One Piece.”
You can view all those aforementioned goodies below and check out all the great programming the streaming giant offers in the very near future.
