Fear the Walking Dead’s Latest Trailer Reveals the Return of an Old Villain
Jun 30, 2023
The latest promotional material from Fear the Walking Dead has unmasked an enthralling revelation – Victor Strand. The villainous Strand, portrayed by Colman Domingo, is making a dramatic return as per CBR. Victor Strand is no stranger to fans of the series.
His past deeds have left a lasting impression among fans. However, things might be pointing in a different direction, this time around. The trailer hints at Strand shedding his villainous skin, or at least putting it on pause, as he appears to be joining forces with Madison, played by Kim Dickens.
This alliance is particularly noteworthy, given the duo’s tumultuous past that goes back to Season 4. It was a past marred by betrayal and destruction, most notably Strand’s involvement in the obliteration of the Gonzalez Dam.
But the question remains: Can a leopard change its spots? Strand’s story arc is steeped in complexity. The final season unfurls seven years after the events of Season 8, and the shroud over Strand’s recent past is thick.

Fear the Walking Ddead Prepares For a Heart-Stopping Climax
AMC
As the adrenaline-fueled series that is Fear the Walking Dead, is coming to a close. The anticipation for its last remaining episodes is at an all-time-high. The series first debuted in 2015 as a maiden spinoff for AMC’s iconic The Walking Dead. Since then, it has taken the fans in an emotional roller coaster through a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles.
It’s been a story of survival, as a family with its fair share of dysfunctions strives to navigate a world now swarming with the undead. Over time, the series has garnered the well-deserved applause for how it expanded the universe of The Walking Dead. It has served up a smorgasbord of intriguing, well-drawn characters and plotlines.
Another layer to the narrative is the conspicuous absence of Morgan Jones, portrayed by Lennie James. James’ character made an exit last mid-season finale. As it appears, Morgan might not be coming back any time soon. His departure was punctuated by his quest to find Rick Grimes and the settlement of Alexandria.
This development has spurred speculation that Morgan might make a reappearance in some capacity, especially with talks of a Rick and Michonne spinoff in the works. However, Morgan’s path is akin to a winding road – where it leads, even he does not know as James said.
Fear the Walking Dead has set the stage for a final epic showdown. With Victor Strand back in the fray, possibly with a change of heart, and Madison reclaiming her protagonist mantle, the finale promises to be nothing short of seismic. The series has been a journey – one of heartbreak, hope, and harrowing trials. As it draws to a close, it’s tying up the loose ends, while at the same time planting the seeds for future sagas. The countdown has begun, and the fans await with bated breath for the curtain call of this beloved series.
Fear the Walking Dead is set to come back on AMC and AMC+ this Fall 2023 for its final Season 8B.
