Warner Bros. Discovery recently announced that as part of its ongoing celebration of the 100th anniversary of Warner Bros. Studio, they are releasing a 4K remaster of Harrison Ford’s classic 1993 action crime thriller The Fugitive.I love this movie! I actually still remember watching it in theaters when it was first released. This film captivated me from beginning to end. The movie is based on the 1960s television series of the same name created by Roy Huggins. The film was directed by Andrew Davis, and it tells the story of Dr. Richard Kimble (Ford), a man who is framed for the murder of his wife and sentenced to death, and then escapes custody while setting out to find out what really happened. The movie also starred Tommy Lee Jones, Sela Ward, Joe Pantoliano, Andreas Katsulas, and Jeroen Krabbé, and more.Special features set to be included on The Fugitive Ultra HD Blu-ray disc include:Introduction by Andrew Davis and Harrison FordCommentary by Andrew Davis and Tommy Lee Jones“The Fugitive: Thrill of the Chase”“On the Run with the Fugitive”“Derailed: Anatomy of a Train Wreck”Theatrical TrailerThe Fugitive 4K release date has been set for November 21, 2023, when the film will arrive on 4K Ultra HD disc and digital. The film will be available to purchase both online and in-store at major retailers, and will also be made available to purchase digitally from Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play, Vudu, and more.
