The HBO Original late-night comedy series It’s Florida, Man will officially return for Season 2, with the Season 1 finale all set to debut on Friday, November 22. Created and executive produced by Mark Herwick for Range Studios and Jeff Tomsic, who also directs, It’s Florida, Man is executive produced by Danny McBride and Brandon James for Rough House Pictures, and Bryan Storkel. The first season stars a rolling cast of major names from the world of comedy. More than two dozen guest stars made special appearances throughout the series’ six episodes, including Anna Faris, Randall Park, Jake Johnson, Jon Gries, Sam Richardson, Ego Nwodim, Juliette Lewis, Simon Rex, and more. Margaret Lyons of The New York Times said of the series, “The show’s melody is “Get a load of this!” But its harmony kicks in with cheerful depth, a curiosity about the loves and agonies that extend beyond a local news segment,” while Daniel Fienberg of The Hollywood Reporter adds, “The familiar actors are a cute touch, elevating It’s Florida, Man above the gawking that a similar concept on TLC or Discovery might deliver.”
