'High Potential' Breaks an Incredible ABC Record

Kaitlin Olson is one of the unsung comedic actors of our day. Yes, she’s been in one of the longest-running scripted comedy series of all time with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, but at times it’s felt like she’s been doing amazing work for a tiny audience, locked away in the FXX closets. She tried to break through into a bigger mainstream with Fox’s sitcom The Mick, which began strong with nearly nine million live viewers before dropping to two million and staying that way. There have been other fits and starts throughout a career full of great supporting characters, but Olson’s never experienced the glowing success she’s deserved until High Potential, which just ended its first season on ABC and broke a bevy of records along the way.
