Horror Film Based on Recent Horrible Willy Wonka “Immersive Experience” Announced Titled THE UNKNOWN — GeekTyrant

Last week we shared a report about a Willy Wonka “Immersive Experience” in Glasgow, Scotland that went horribly wrong. The event was called, “Willy’s Chocolate Experience,” and it ended up being a huge disappointment, leaving children in tears and families pissed off.The event was hyped with the allure of the fantastical, a wonderland inspired by the Timothée Chalamet Wonka reboot. Advertisements created with AI showcased a colorful vibrant world, and for $45, families were promised “a place where chocolate dreams become reality.”Upon arrival, guests were met not with a confectionary paradise but a sparsely, terribly decorated warehouse. The “immersive experience” was nothing more than a gutted factory that featured a few plastic candy canes, struggling actors, and rented props scattered around on bare concrete floors. One of the characters introduced at the experience became known on the internet as The Unknown. He wears a silver mask and has nothing to do with the Willy Wonka movies. It looks more like a Harry Potter villain. Regardless, it terrified kids at the event and it the inspiration for this upcoming horror movie. Well, this whole thing is now being turned into a horror movie titled The Unknown, because everything and anything needs to be adapted into a movie. The film project was announced by Scotland-based film production company Kaledonia Pictures. They shared the following details on the story: “The film, gearing up for production and a late 2024 release, follows a renowned illustrator and his wife who are haunted by the tragic death of their son, Charlie. Desperate to escape their grief, the couple leave the world behind for the remote Scottish Highlands – where an unknowable evil awaits them.”The company shared in a statement with Bloody Disgusting: “We are excited to begin production and look forward to sharing more with you as soon as possible. We are actually only a few miles from the event, so it is quite surreal to see Glasgow all over social media, worldwide.”The Unknown looking to be released in late 2024. It’s so funny that this whole thing is going to be turned into a movie. While the organization behind the actual experience refunded all the money, they will come out on top because they are sure to make money off this movie.
