Hulu’s Resort Crime Limited Series Premieres On April 26
Apr 6, 2023
Hulu is coming off a stellar year of original programming, with critically regarded hits like “Pam & Tommy,” “The Dropout,” and “Dopesick.” So what will the streamer’s first big hit of 2023 be? Maybe it’s “Saint X,” a limited series that hits Hulu later this month.

Based on Alexis Schaitkin‘s novel of the same name, “Saint X” follows a missing persons case in the Caribbean along multiple timelines, with the surviving sister of a missing young woman thrust into a search for the truth.
Here’s the official synopsis for “Saint X,” courtesy of Hulu:
The series, which is told via multiple timelines, explores and upends the girl-gone-missing genre as it explores how a young woman’s mysterious death during an idyllic Caribbean vacation creates a traumatic ripple effect that eventually pulls her surviving sister into a dangerous pursuit of the truth.
“Saint X” stars Alycia Debnam-Carey, Josh Bonzie, West Duchovny, Jayden Elijah, Bre Francis, Kenlee Anaya Townsend, Betsy Brandt, and Michael Park.
Leila Gerstein, who won an Emmy for her work on “The Handmaid’s Tale,” develops “Saint X” and writes three of show’s episodes. Dee Rees direct the show’s pilot. Gerstein and Rees serve as executive producers with Schaitkin, David Levine, Zack Hayden, Stephen Williams, and more.
So, is “Saint X” the start of another string of big hits for Hulu, or just the streamer’s meager answer to the popularity of “The White Lotus“? Find out when the show’s first three episodes premiere on Hulu on April 26, with new episodes premiering weekly afterward for its eight-episode run. Watch a trailer for “Saint X” below.
