Trigger Warning director Mouly Surya and star and producer Jessica Alba spoke with MovieWeb’s Will Sayre about their new Netflix action movie. They discussed the complexity of protagonist Parker and Alba’s return to action movies after years focusing on her company, The Honest Company.
In Trigger Warning, a skilled Special Forces commando (Jessica Alba) takes ownership of her father’s bar after he suddenly dies, and soon finds herself at odds with a violent gang running rampant in her hometown. The film also stars Mark Webber, Anthony Michael Hall, Jake Weary, and Tone Bell. Trigger Warning hit Netflix on June 21, 2024.
