Kathryn Hahn & J.K. Simmons Join Nathalie Emmanuel & Kevin Hart In Action Comedy Series
Dec 5, 2024
Kevin Hart‘s busy 2024 isn’t over yet. After “Lift,” “Borderlands,” Peacock‘s “Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist,” and hosting “The Roast Of Tom Brady,” the actor-comedian also has Season 3 of “Die Hart” on the way, and it hits The Roku Channel next Friday.

After the Quibi original became a runaway hit, snagging seven Emmy nods, Roku swooped in to keep the show alive (with a little help from Prime Video recutting those two seasons into feature films). So what does Season 3 have to offer fans? Well, Hart returns, as does series mainstay Nathalie Emmanuel. But there’s some newcomers in the mix this season too, including J.K. Simmons and Kathryn Hahn.
Here’s an official synopsis for “Die Hart” Season 3, courtesy of The Roku Channel:
After his latest film flops harder than a boiled peanut, Kevin’s search for dramatic acclaim leads him to legendary filmmaker Jackson Pepper. Kevin would do just about anything to get a golden statue on his shelf, but Pepper’s idea of role research is a bit more hands-on, and soon Kevin is living out the role of a fugitive on the run for murder. With Jordan King roped in as his unwitting getaway driver, it’ll take bravery, acting talent, and stupidity to save their award-winning future.
Along with Hart, Emmanuel, Simmons, and Hahn, “Die Hart” Season 3 also stars Tony Cavalero and Anna Garcia.
Tripper Clancy serves as creator and writer on “Die Hart” Season 3, with Eric Appel directing, like they did on Seasons 1 and 2. Executive producers on the series include Hart, Clancy, Bryan Smiley, Luke Kelly-Clyne, Jeff Clanagan, Josh Ruben, and Ty Walker. “Die Hart” is a Hartbeat production.
“Die Hart” Season 3 premieres on The Roku Channel on December 13. Don’t have Roku? Not to worry: the new season will likely get the movie treatment on Prime Video in due time. Watch a trailer for the S3 below.
