Killer of Killers Will Leave You Begging for More

Jun 14, 2025

The hunt is far from over. Today, 20th Century Studios officially announced Predator: Killer of Killers, an original animated action-adventure set in the brutal and beloved Predator universe. The new anthology-style film will premiere exclusively on Hulu on June 6, 2025.
This marks the franchise’s boldest move yet—an animated entry that spans centuries and continents, bringing fans a blood-soaked collection of stories about the deadliest warriors in human history. The concept reimagines what a Predator story can be, pushing the iconic alien hunter into new eras and styles of combat. Watch the trailer below.

The Good:
Let’s start with what everyone will talk about first: the violence. It is gloriously graphic. The fight choreography is phenomenal. From the moment the first Predator drops in, the action is fast, feral, and beautifully constructed. The animation makes full use of the medium, delivering moments that would be impossible in a live-action film. It is clear the filmmakers knew what world they were playing in, and they used every tool they had.
Each timeline stands out with its own tone and style, but the ninja and samurai storyline is the crown jewel. “The ninja versus Predator sequence is a masterclass in tension and style. It is everything fans have been dreaming of since Prey.” The choreography is tight, the kills are savage, and the world-building is layered in smart and subtle ways.

The cinematography choices elevate the energy in each scene. From the cockpit angles in the aerial combat to the grounded grit of the Viking war zone, the film keeps the pulse pounding. The mid-credit scene is a beautiful reward for long-time Predator fans. It does not just tease a future. It demands one.
What helps the film land emotionally is the strength of the storytelling. The script gives each human character enough weight to matter. Nothing is handed to them. Every triumph or tragedy feels earned. And as terrifying as the Predators are, they are not the only focus. The film is always grounded in human stories. That balance is what makes Killer of Killers rise above a standard creature feature.
The Bad
The only real hiccup here is that one of the stories, particularly the high-altitude dogfight, feels a little too convenient. A couple of the stunts stretch the limits of believability. It is fun to watch, but you may find yourself saying “Okay, really?” a few times.

Also, not every story carries the same emotional weight. A few moments could have benefited from a little more breathing room. The pace is so quick that some of the deeper emotional beats do not always get the time they deserve.
The VerdictPredator: Killer of Killers is a blood-soaked feast of violence, lore, and cinematic flair that makes a serious case for being the best installment in the entire Predator franchise. It is bold, brutal, and “exactly the kind of high-octane storytelling fans have been begging for.”
If this is the future of the franchise, then sign me up. The only real issue is that there is no sequel yet. And that needs to change fast. This was the bloodiest Predator ever. Must watch for Predator fans.
