The first reactions have surfaced for Paramount Pictures’ upcoming horror film A Quiet Place: Day One, which takes place prior to the events of the first two films in the franchise. As you’ll see from the reviews, critics are loving the film! The movie is described as “terrifying and beautiful,” “emotionally taxing,” “heart-pounding,” “big heart,” and it is filled with “scary monster carnage.”The movie takes audiences back to the very beginning when the aliens first invaded planet Earth. Creator John Krasinski previously said of the film, “We follow Lupita Nyong’o’s character as she navigates the horrific first moments of the alien invasion in the loudest city of the world, New York City.”The movie has a solid cast that includes Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, and Djimon Hounsou. The movie was written and directed by Michael Sarnoski (Pig).A Quiet Place: Day One will be released in theaters on June 28th, 2024.
