Margot Robbie Addresses James Gunn’s New DC Studios Job and Her Future as Harley Quinn — GeekTyrant

Dec 11, 2022

It’s been a lot of fun watching Margot Robbie play Harley Quinn in the DC Cinematic Universe! She’s become a fan-favorite character. After The Suicide Squad was released there was a bit of talk about the possibility of director James Gunn and Robbie teaming up for another Harley Quinn film project. That whole thing was left with Gunn saying, “We will have to see what happens!”Well, now Gunn is heading up DC Studios! So, he’s in a position where he can make anything happen if he wants. During a recent interview with CB, Robbie was asked about Gunn’s new job as co-CEO of DC Studios and she said:”I know it’s crazy, and Peter Safran, so he was also the producer on The Suicide Squad, so I know them both really well and they’re a dynamic duo. I think that’s such a get for DC.” In a previous interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actress was asked about her future as Harley Quinn and she’s ready to jump back into the role! She said:”No, I’ve had enough of a break. I’m ready to do her again. I did Birds of Prey and The Suicide Squad back-to-back, so that was a lot of Harley all in a one-year period, but that was a while ago now. I’m always ready for more Harley!”We just don’t know at this point what the future of the DC Cinematic Universe looks like. There are bound to be some major changes coming as Gunn and Safran plan out the future. Fans are excited to see what that future will be, but I have a feeling we’re going to see a big DC movie reset. It seems like the logical move to make with a fresh team wanting to make a fresh start. We’ll find out soon enough! The question is, do you want to see more of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn?
