More MCU Multiverse Shenanigans Are Coming Later This Month
Dec 9, 2024
All things considered, Marvel Studios has experienced a pretty solid 2024. “Echo” came and went and, seemingly, was a pretty solid performer on Disney+. Then we had the record-breaking release of “Deadpool & Wolverine.” And there was the well-received “Agatha All Along.” Now, the studio is closing out the year with the third season of “What If…?”

As seen in the new trailer for “What If…?” Season 3, the series is hoping you will go back and rewatch the first two seasons to see all the wild multiversal shenanigans that have already happened. And the big tease for Season 3 seems to be an Avenger mech that comes together like Megazord from “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.”
As for the characters we are expecting to see in Season 3, you have Captain America/Sam Wilson, The Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes, Hulk/Bruce Banner, The Red Guardian, Captain Peggy Carter, Agatha Harkness, Shang-Chi, Storm the Goddess of Thunder, and numerous others. The last name there, Storm, is a big deal because we have yet to see many of the “X-Men” characters show up in the MCU.
