Natasha Lyonne’s Charlie Is Back Solving New Murders This May

Can you spot a liar? Charlie Cale has a gift for recognizing deception and it’s led to nothing but trouble for her. The first season of “Poker Face” saw the former cocktail waitress on the run. Along the way, she helped solve a few seemingly unsolvable cases. Now, the Peacock series returns for an anticipated second season full of twists and turns. Series creator Rian Johnson writes and directs the season premiere. He is also serving as executive producer.
Natasha Lyonne is back as Charlie. The actress/executive producer additionally takes another turn behind the camera — directing and co-writing an episode. She’s joined by an all-star cast of guest stars. Actors announced for future episodes include Adrienne C. Moore, Alia Shawkat, Awkwafina, Ben Marshall, B.J. “Poker Face is a mystery-of-the-week series following Natasha Lyonne’s Charlie, who has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. She hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and with every stop encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can’t help but solve.”
Charlie faces new mysteries and challenges in Season 2 of “Poker Face.” The Peacock series returns on May 8 with three new episodes, subsequent episodes stream every Thursday. Get your first look at the trailer for the upcoming season below.
