For those not in the know, the very awkward, sometimes excruciating series follows one man’s journey to reduce the uncertainties of everyday life. With the assistance of a construction crew, a legion of actors, and seemingly unlimited resources, Fielder helps ordinary individuals prepare for life’s significant moments by “rehearsing” them in meticulously crafted simulations of his own design. In the second season, the urgency of Fielder’s project intensifies as he decides to address an issue that affects everyone.
Well-received by both fans and critics. The Playlist’s review of the first season described it as “brilliant, meticulous; the comedian’s most ambitious, fascinating work yet”
Nathan Fielder serves as the star, writer, director, and executive producer of the series. The executive producers include Eric Notarnicola, Dave Paige, and Christie Smith & Dan McManus for Rise Management. The co-executive producers are Kris Eber and Carrie Kemper, with Adam Locke-Norton handling production. Additional writers for the series include Eric Notarnicola, Carrie Kemper, and Adam Locke-Norton.
